Post how S3 relates with ST
Hello fellow RVer's!

I am a first week student and I'm off to a good start I feel. I've had some sessions that went pretty well results wise, while only a couple really seemed off target. While looking at what I've done, I am seeing where I've made some structure mistakes. I made the most mistakes on the last practice target on dvd1, but I figured out easily enough what those mistakes were. I'm not disappointed though, I'm just more motivated to practice this everyday!

Question on the sketches. I was confused earlier but I think I get it now. The S3 sketch is more in a state a rough data, but could or should it be used as a guide to piecing together the analytical sketches in an orientation manner? Being that that's where the X, A, B, aspects are coming from. or should S3 just be ignored completely at the ST stage.

Thanks,

No.

During an RV session, never refer back to your S3 Freehand Sketch.

The only time you might need to quickly glance at your S3 Freehand Sketch is if you are doing movements on the aspects (e.g. "from the top of [C] SSBP," etc.), and you've forgotten how many aspects you've labeled.

Thank you for making this clear.

So is this also the case when doing the analytical sketches? I should just analytical sketch strictly from the dimension word descriptors and ignore what shape or archetype the aspect may have resembled in S3, (if different from the dimension descriptors) is that so? Or to rephrase my question, when I'm focusing on "X", (from the top of [x] SSBP) I'm just focusing on what X is, and not necessarily what X looks like on the S3 sketch per se?

I appreciate your all help, thanks!
