 AOL difficulties
Hello everybody,
I'm new here. I just finished DVD1, and I am having a lot of difficulty clearing the AOL visions when I put the pen down.
Of the four sessions, I only got decent stuff from #3. The others were spoiled by not being able to clear my mind.
I am a very analytical person with a strong visual element in my memory. I believe it's this that is causing the problem. Are there any trainees who have been advised to give it up for these reasons?
I will try and scan the 4 sessions later, but they are junk really. Is there any point in wasting your time?

Yes. Post them so we can correct them.

 Re: AOL difficulties
It doesn't appear as though you are declaring any AOL breaks. This is a problem. You may want to review the first lesson on the DVD.

 Re: AOL difficulties
Couple things,
First, stop using comma's in stage 2. You also need to stop writing the dimension words on your stage 3 analytical sketch. The line drawings need to stand on their own. Finally, there are only 3 AOL's declared in the entire session, and there are no AOL's declared at all in any of the stage 4's.
If you find that your thinking mind continues to intrude, you must be judicious about declaring the AOL's, no matter which section you are in.
Finally, my advice would be to shut the ego up if you wish to save yourself some unpleasantness. The fact you were "very unhappy" about the results really has no relevance to the training process. Your ego has zero importance. How you feel about a session means absolutely nothing. The part of you doing the work, which can and will make adjustments as you practice and provide it feedback, is the unconscious mind. That's where the real work is taking place. Stick to the protocol outlined in the DVD's and things will start falling into place.

 Re: AOL difficulties
Thank you. I will heed your wise counsel.
I'll now do a week of practice targets before continuing with DVD2.
