Post question on using S6

I have a question on S6 usage. It is briefly discussed on DVD4 and I have found a little info about it in various posts but not enough to give me a more clearly defined "format" for usage.

Let me explain; let's suppose that I have a S3 analytical sketch labeled S3[X] that is clearly a "structure" and in my S4[X] I have listed tangibles as: "structure" and "building" (the quotes are being used here only in this post for clarification). How would I extract more dimensional data to render a high quality sketch of this "thing"? Would I simply pull out a blank sheet, write S6[X] and proceed to sketch or would I need to write a prompt, as was done in the DVD?

Best regards,

You could try different vantage points.

For example: From 100 meters south of X something should be observable.
