Post Location qualifier
Hi all,
Is it possible that the Matrix could locate my optimum next residence from a location place name. I know that I should use the already workable cue: "My optimum next residence". But would the following location qualifier cue work (understand by the Matrix):

My optimum next residence / located within 10 miles from New York City / Most recognizable feature

Any suggestions or improvements would be grateful...

Your second cue term filters a subset out of the set of possible solutions of the first cue term, which already contains only one element due to the use of the qualifier "optimum".

Looks logically okay, though the previous version just without the first separator might be a more natural way to express it. If there was time I'd suggest to try both and see if results match, but right now, is there a sanctuary in NYC? I'm almost out of the door... good luck!

Cue fail.

Ed, is it possible that the matrix understands the term "Located within 10 miles from New York City"... it sounds clear to me, what else could I use!

Begin with: My optimum next residence

(I've personally employed this selfsame cue).

Experience trumps mere deduction, of course. This example shows how experience teaches to trust the Matrix with your limiting parameters as well and to state your goal as simply as possible. (Need to say the obvious sometimes as note to self to avoid following the garden path as above.)
