Post S3 Analytical sketch switching fro pen to pencil
I ma shortly to take the DVD versionof Dr Betty Edwards drawing on the right side of the brain. The intention is to be more viable and able for S3 analytical sketches. I wondered whether it would be within teh TRV structure to switch during this stage of the session between a black pen and a good drawing pencil? Purely for S3 analytical sketches.

I would appreciate any advice or reflections of experience on this.

Thanks :P :) 8)

I am not a professional, but I would say that your effort in trying to improve your S3 analyticals by doing the method you are attempting is overdoing it.

Now the better question may be about trying to do the same thing(changing from black pen to graphite pencil) during an S6-drawing sketch would be more appropriate.

The analytical, if I am not mistaken, is also more like a zipped file, as Ed may have explained in the DVDs. I tend to still have some archetypical representations in my analyticals. Basically I am trying to say that you should not be looking to spend A) that kind of time in S3-Analytical nor B)attempting to be more detailed in that sketch. Complete the drawing as plainly as it comes out and quicky as allowable then move on. The higher detailed stuff is reserved for higher stage protocols.

I hope I have not over stepped any lines and have been as helpful as I think I am trying to be, Bescot.

Practice, Practice, Practice, and Practice and then post them for review

Thank you for the prompt reply it is appreciated.

On the Dr Betty Edwards front, Ed has recommened her book in class before. "Drwaing on the right side of the brain" could be argued as a double entendre for where the RV response comes from HA!

I se what you are saying about leaving a graphite pencil untill stage six.

Lets se what anyone else may have to offer on this subject.

thanks again
