Post S4 Descriptor words
I was thinking about the higher s4 ways of describing movement of an object, and began to wonder about the differences between

- moving
- travelling

These words both have, to the best of my knowledge, certain implications.
I will use the example I had thought of:

The sheets move in the wind - true
The sheets travel in the wind - false (no locomotion - no 'ability to move' - right?)

The man moves down the road - true
The man travels down the road - true (his legs)

Should I subsume such truth implications for this example? Am I forming a bad habit akin to AOLing?

Post Higher is not better
It is my experience that "Higher" is not better... In fact, I was taught to fight back the urge to use so called "higher" level words.. and keep the words simple all through the session...

It makes for better results..

Alex.

Alex,

I agree with the trustability of higher level concepts when assembling an RV session, but my query is regarding post-session analysis.

My example is an illustration of different S4 descriptor words which i have seen and used in sessions.

Travelling and moving seem to me to have many contextual differences, being able to 'decipher' this context seems to be critical to understanding the session and ultimately the ST.

It's difficult to be able to interpret an rv session without immediate feedback at times!! What to trust, what not to trust, whats related to what, etc....
