Post Perhaps a Tsunami warning...
Just to establish bona fides, my Darling Wife has had an RV "wow" posted in these fora:

http://rvcommunity.net/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=3366&p=23744&hilit=darling+wife+wow#p23744

In November and December 2004, my Darling Wife was quite emotional about our having to find a place to live above 2000 feet in elevation. She has always had strong feelings about a lot of things, but this was extraordinary. There are actually a lot of nice places in Virginia that are well above 2000 feet, and she was finding all of them and pestering me to investigate.

Then 26 December 2004 was the Indonesia tsunami that affected much of the subcontinent especially Aceh in Indonesia. We actually had a friend with family who were in Aceh for the tsunami event.

After the tsunami, her emotional imperative to get above 2000 ft kinda all went away.

She recently realized she was in the same "gotta get a place to live above 2000 ft" mindset again.

For what its worth, we're posting this for anybody for whom this may be important. If you are in a tsunami-prone zone, if there is a warning, please heed it and head for shelter.

Jim Berkland's process (used to be http://www.syzygyjob.com) for major earthquake prediction has to do with the phase of the moon. The next full moon is 20 June 2016, and the next new moon is 4 July 2016. I believe that the summer prediction window is within 7 days of the new moon. So after about 15 July this prediction becomes void.

Greetings Redgator:

There was a similar warning circulating around the Internet about a year ago referring to a tsunami along the east coast supposedly caused by an asteroid strike in the Atlantic near Puerto Rico or an earthquake in the Azores. It was predicted to go inland as far as the Appalachian mountains and suggested a safe elevation of a 1000 feet or more if I remember correctly. I don't think the CIA moved from Washington to Denver for no good reason.

Well, the only significant thing I could find referring to tsunami this weekend was:

So, It Wasn't a Tsunami That Struck Off Jersey Shore, Delaware

http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/weather/stories/Tsunami-Jersey-Shore-Delaware-Meteotsunami-383979441.html

What the National Weather Service initially called a weather-related meteotsunami off the coast of the Jersey Shore and Delaware during severe storms Tuesday afternoon actually wasn't a tsunami after all because it didn't go far enough.

"A meteotsunami, like all tsunamis, is a propagating wave train," said said U.S. NWS Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in a Facebook update. "While the sea-level anomaly shown in the figure did show up on other nearby tide gauges, it did not advance far beyond the mouth of Delaware Bay. In particular, it did not reflect from the shelf edge to come back to threaten the coast in the manner of the meteotsunami of June 2013. Since it did not propagate far, we cannot call the event a meteotsunami."

A comet will hit the Atlantic and everything east of the Appalachians gets wiped out!
Move west  .

Every relevant personal sanctuary location lies to the immediate east of the Appalachians -- zero to the immediate or near west. Closest zones westward are in Colorado (with two Midwest exceptions).

Get out of your lower mind -- end run around your fears and imagination, whilst you're at it.

Just to close this out, the next major tsunami to hit after this posting was here. I'm pretty sure this was not the object of DW's impression:

She's all about getting above 2000 ft AGAIN. Talking about all these nice places in Southwest Virginia above 2000ft. "Can we move now?"

Jim Berkland's process: the next full moon is 29 May 2018, and the next new moon is 13 June 2018. I believe that the summer prediction window is within 7 days of the new moon. So after about 20 June this prediction becomes void.

For posting photos, I would recommend Photobucket.com. Having posted here recently, I discovered that I hadn't poked Photobucket.com recently, and all of the links had gone stale. I just re-upped my FREE account, and they all came back.
