kfa,

Would you consider sharing your "geeky little tool" to others in need of a dynamic practice library?

I wouldn't mind, and please don't misunderstand me, but publishing or sending it over as is has some issues. First I'd have to put in work again to strip it from exposing the specific trade secrets which are licensed only by purchase of the RVFM course. Then it may stop working any time Google decides to change the design of their image search interface, which would require adapting the tool. And then it's not so easily portable, only if you run a similar setup as I have. Technologies involved are Linux, Perl, ImageMagick, LaTeX, and a few supporting modules and applications, and of course the only documentation that comes with it is its source code. That's why it's "geeky". I'm sure for some this isn't a challenge at all, but I know from experience that this never goes without substantial effort in support, from which I am shying away at the moment.

Technicalities aside, unless you have a specific application for which it can provide a foundation, I can tell you that having a piece of software will not make you a better remote viewer. There is a cornucopia of practice targets here on the forum to keep you busy for many months. If you can't find the motivation to work on these, then a 'dynamic' practice library won't change that. Of course I know the sentiments that lead to this idea only too well. I actually had started programming this piece as a distraction when I tried to sit down for practice, a pathological habit of all procrastinators. Later it evolved to suit the application described above.

So let the doctor tell you what you really need... That's why I sincerely recommend, if you're a programmer yourself, then also do it yourself! Getting it ready-made will deprive you of blissful days of mind masturbation. Then when you're done and had your cigarette and a shower afterwards, you will be in a better mood to actually do something useful. Promised.

happened to me and I finially reviewed Eds 4 disk series and in there is an ans. the matrix knows what is good for you better than you do. I wish I could talk to it and reason with it as I really want to win at this.
